Western Hickory BBQ Cooking Chunks are kiln-dried chunks of hickory wood, each roughly the size of a fist. You can add some to a charcoal fire to get some wood smoke flavor, but they are primarily designed to be used as fuel for the fire, giving you the authentic smokehouse flavor.
