This beautiful Allium has unique lavender-color blooms that attract pollinators. It also has thick, edible leaves that taste similar to chives, like onions with a hint of garlic. Start seeds 6-8 weeks before the last frost or direct sow after the last frost in the spring. Takes 7-14 days to germinate. Once established this perennial is mostly self-sustaining but may not flower until the second season.
