Mixed review

Happy with the materials, but very disappointed with the rough finish. Will have to sand the plywood and re-seal the surface before giving as a family gift.

The rough finish is intentional. A smooth finish, especially when varnished, leads to the bags sliding down and off the board. Many folks playing the game would prefer the bags to stay put (if they don't go through the hole!) since that will add points to their score, and so a rough finish is needed.
