Good's Store is closed on Sundays. You are welcome to browse, and we will reopen for orders Mondays at 12:00 a.m.
One day when nine-year-old Daniel visits Grandma Bennett's house, he finds an unusual array of items outside on the gravel drive: creaky, old law furniture, a red toolbox, a big brown box labeled "china," and a rusty mower.
Grandma Bennett soon explains. She is getting ready to have a garage sale. Not only will she get rid of things she doesn't need, but it will also give her the opportunity to send some money to Mexico to help roof a widow's house.
In the days that follow, the plans for Grandma Bennett's garage sale take some unexpected turns. And Daniel discovers that the cheerful giving of a faithful congregation can touch the community and the world - beyond what they ever expected.
