
Women's Modest Bathing Suit Pattern
Sew your own swimming suit with this modest bathing suit pattern that keeps you covered but is fitted enough to let you swim freely.
Pattern includes instructions how to make a shelf bra insert, attached leggings, and a lightly gathered sarong skirt with a knotted tie. Bathing suit will be stretchy.
Materials needed:
- Use 4-way stretch swimsuit fabric that's 80% nylon, 20% spandex for best results. (See chart below for the yardage needed)
- 100% nylon fabric for lining
- Poly laminated foam fabric for cups
- Elastic that's designed for bathing suits

My mom used the pattern to make swimdresses for herself and I and a couple of girls at church. They turned out really nice. We did modify the skirt pattern because I didn't really like the sarong idea. So I used a full skirt and it looks great. Thank you for selling these patterns.
