Tips for Measuring for Suit Coats
If your chest measurement is not to an exact inch, round up to the next full inch.
Our suits are regular fit suits. If you have an athletic fit (broad shoulders and upper arms), we advise going up one size from the suit size chart to allow sufficient room in the shoulders.
Our size charts reflect wearing the suit with the buttons closed. If you do not wear the suit buttoned, going down a size from the suit size chart will often result in a better fit, but then it will be tight if you do choose to button it up.
The Swedish knit polyester fabric is a heavy, tightly-knit fabric, so it feels tighter than our wool blend and polyester/rayon fabric. Our size charts take this into consideration for overall size, but please be aware that in other aspects, such as sleeve size, the Swedish knit suits also run tighter.
If you would like to speak with one of our staff about finding the best suit size, or have other questions about our suits, please feel free to call our store at 717.354.4026, Monday through Friday 8 am to 9 pm & Saturday, 8 am to 5 pm Eastern Time.
