Your online search for broadfall work pants is over!  Here are Better-Bilt broadfall work pants made by Gohn Brothers Manufacturing from Middlebury, Indiana.  And just what are broadfall pants?  They have a drop front fastened with buttons, rather than a fly.  This reflects the way pants were often made prior to 1900, before the zipper was utilized in the garment industry.  Today broad fall pants are widely used among the Old Order Amish community, as well as similar groups such as some Old Order Mennonites and Brethren.  These pants would also be ideal for men looking to dress in an authentic nineteenth-century manner, for historical re-enactments, museums, or folk festivals.  Wear these pants with a long-sleeve cotton shirt, suspenders, and a period hat (straw or fur), and you've got the right look!

Better-Bilt broadfalls are made in Middlebury, in the heart of Indiana's Amish & Mennonite country, by Gohn Brothers Manufacturing Company, which has provided clothing to the Amish and other Plain communities for more 100 years.

Happily Surprised

The fit is perfect, I’m probably going to order a second pair in the near future!

Good Amish work pants

I’m a farmer and I was looking for some good working pants and let me tell you that these pants are worth the money but buy a size larger than the size you want.

Good pants....but...

Good pants, I would definitely go one size up in the waist. Every pair of broadfall pants I've ever worn always seem a tad tighter in the waist than my usual size. I don't wear broadfall pants anymore. I wore them with suspenders and it seemed every day someone was asking me if i'm Amish/mennonite. Shame....they are good pants.

Great pair of pants, a little snug though.

These pants are true quality. I’m a 6’0 tall man who weighs 185lbs, I ordered a 33x32 as I usually wear, but these fit a bit snug in the waist. I suggest ordering a size above what you wear normally. These are work pants, they’re thicker than normal casual pants, great for going through the job with you. I’m a farmer and my pants don’t usually last long, these I know I can trust though.
