The King Arthur Baking Company Adjustable Cake Strips 10758K conduct heat evenly to help prevent cakes from doming, cracking, and overbaking, creating smooth, level layers that are easier to stack, apply icing to, and decorate! Each strip adjusts easily with a Velcro closure to fit straight-sided 8- and 9-inch round cake pans securely, creating a consistent baking environment that encourages flat results without trimming away any domed top. To use, soak the strips in water for 15 minutes, squeeze out any excess, and wrap them snugly around the pan before adding batter. After baking, allow the strips to cool completely before removing and wipe clean as needed.
