Born in West Africa, Gabriel Abraham Singbeh did not walk for several years. He was considered cursed, and he and his family were shunned and forced out of their village. Gabriel was loved by his mother, who always taught him about God, but he was abused by his extended family. As a teenager, he and his mentor, Pastor Elisha set off on a journey to Europe in search of work and education, but were sold into slavery along the way. They were robbed, starved, tortured and trafficked through the Sahara Desert by their Muslim captors. After calling out to God repeatedly for deliverance, Gabriel was finally rescued and eventually found comfort at a church in Italy. Today, he continues to look for ways to serve God faithfully in youth ministry.
